Singles - now is the time to fight

I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one. - 1 John 2:14

Far too often the early twenties are spent pursuing our own desires. Fun, excitement, and happiness are the pursuits of the typical "young adult". It can also be a time where many fall away in their walk with God and separate themselves from other christians.

The most crucial time to learn to battle and kill sin is when you are young and single. A strong, young believer has the opportunity to spend nearly every moment of free time immersed in the Word of God and dedicated to fighting sin and serving others.  You will never have the same opportunity to dedicate your life to the things of God then when you are young and single. 

Now is the time to fight. 

Now is the time to become strong.

Now is the time to overcome the evil one.
