Satan's plan is to immobilize you. He doesn't care how he does it. Fear, shame, ignorance, laziness, pride, rationalization, even well intentioned theology can prevent us from battling sin. (Don't let your theology be an excuse)
The Lord has a plan for your life as well. It is a life of freedom, communion, rest and service. He is calling you to walk with Him. He is waiting for you, as the father waited for the prodigal son, to decide that you no longer want to mire in pig slop.
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. -James 4:8
